There are two types of date codes to look for:
Glass Pane Date Code: A laser-etched marking with three lines - the top line will say "ODL." This is typically located in the bottom right corner of the glass unit, but may be in a different corner depending on how the pane was installed.
Blind Track Date Code: A single line starting with "ODL" located within the blind track area (always in upper left corner of the interior facing side).
Before submitting photos: Consider checking if your door has our adjustable hinge plate system, as this feature can often resolve alignment issues. Please watch this video on how to adjust your hinges to see if this resolves the issue.
Claims for warped doors require specific photo documentation to be processed:
Note: Sending a single photo of a level on the door is not sufficient. Please provide multiple pictures showing the tests clearly.
Please review your information for accuracy before submitting. Providing complete details and clear photos will help us resolve your claim as quickly as possible.
Upon submission, our claims department will review the images, enter the claim in our system and acknowledge receipt to the appropriate parties. A representative will then contact you with the next steps.
